Kiwi & Kom Kom Brand knives are known for their sharp blades and durable construction, making them ideal for carving pumpkins. They're also very affordable, so you don't have to break the bank to get a good quality knife.

Everyone knows that sharp knives are safer than dull ones.  As you do not need to use as much force to make a cut, you are in more control of what you are doing and so less likely to slip.

Thailand is renown across the globe for it's elaborate displays of fruit carving which are very often created using Kiwi & Kom Kom knives.  The name Kiwi Brand probably comes from the fact that the first knife produced by the company (the Kiwi 001) is shaped like a Kiwi Bird beak.  This knife is great for pumpkin carving in that it is razor sharp and is great for doing detailed fruit carving.

There are also 3 knife sets created under the Kom Kom brand that are for the more serious carvers.

Here are a few tips for carving pumpkins with Kiwi Brand knives:

Choose the right knife. Kiwi Brand offers a variety of knives that are perfect for pumpkin carving, including paring knives, carving knives, and serrated knives. Paring knives are great for small, intricate cuts, while carving knives are better for larger cuts.

Start by cutting off the top of the pumpkin. This will give you a flat surface to work with.
Scoop out the seeds and pulp. You can use a spoon or a pumpkin scoop for this task.
Start carving your design! Be careful not to cut yourself. If you're new to pumpkin carving, start with a simple design.
Once you're finished carving, put a candle inside the pumpkin and light it up!
Here are a few safety tips for carving pumpkins:

Always use sharp knives. Sharp knives are less likely to slip than dull knives.
Cut away from yourself. Never cut towards yourself.
Be careful of your fingers. When scooping out the seeds and pulp, be careful not to cut your fingers.
Use adult supervision. Children should always be supervised by an adult when carving pumpkins.
